About the event

The Chicago Bar Association Symphony Orchestra and the CBA Chorus return with a concert we call "RIDICULOUSLY SUBLIME," featuring  Shostakovich's NINTH, his most tuneful, circulike symphony, and Mozart's  beloved REQUIEM—great choral and orchestral works sure to bring joy,  contentment and peace to everyone in our audience.

Stephen Blackwelder and David Katz conduct, and with resident conductor Marek Rachelski. Mozart soloists TBA.

It is time to rediscover Chicagoland's unique orchestra and chorus of attorneys and judges!

I've had the pleasure of working with the Stephen and the CBA Chorus as we prepared the monumental Mozart Requiem, and now you get to hear the fruits of our labor of love—if you look closely, you might see me at the "organ" (in very large air quotes)!
